The Cats musical arrives on the Sistine theater in Rome. 40 years after its Broadway debut, the place it recorded the world document for consecutive performances from 1982 to 2006, the long-lasting present, with music by Andrew Lloyd Webber and lyrics by Thomas Stearns Eliot, has been revisited by Massimo Romeo Piparo. It is going to be set for the primary time in Rome, in a hypothetical and futuristic dumpster of artworks and archaeological finds, with the Colosseum within the background.
With the stay orchestra directed by Emanuele Friello and the choreography of Billy Mitchell, Malika Ayane, one of many best-known voices in Italian music, would be the protagonist of the present.
